Harmony Pediatric Therapy

We have been coming to Harmony Pediatric Therapy for a year and a half and it has been amazing for our son. Miss Carrie is the first person outside of Mommy and Daddy our son felt comfortable with and trusted. My son suffered severe separation anxiety. He was extremely underweight and unmotivated (really just under regulated/registered). With the knowledge and expertise the team has provided, our son is slowly becoming more social, trying new activities and starting to recognize how his body feels (recognizing when he is hungry was a huge achievement for him!). I am now able to provide an environment that helps my son develop, communicate with and understand my sons behaviors. I do not believe that children need to be severely impaired to seek out occupational therapy. Sensory processing is a part of every child’s life and is intertwined with emotional, hormonal and cognitive development. The highly educated professionals at harmony in a sense help create “harmony” and balance in the children they work with. The knowledge I have received from Miss Carrie is priceless. As a parent I am so happy to have a better understanding of my child’s development!

I can't say enough good things about Harmony! The two therapists we've worked with are truly wonderful and have helped my son to overcome some significant sensory and motor planning challenges over he past 2 and a half years. They're incredibly thorough in using standardized assessment tools, in addition to a range of functional tests, to assess ability in different areas and come up with an individualized plan for growth. My son's skills continue to improve and thanks to the support he's received, is now in a general education kindergarten class where he's thriving and succeeding. And most importantly, my son looks forward to going to his appointments and enjoys working with his wonderful team.

The staff at Harmony Pediatric Therapy is excellent! Caring, understanding and immensely knowledgeable about the issues affecting children with sensory challenges. We have already seen changes in our son's behavior and appreciate all the advice and listening that our therapists do every week. Our son loves his time with Deidre and Patty and I am amazed by their rapport with him. I can't recommend them enough!

This is truly one of the best Pediatric Therapy Clinics that I have ever been too. The quality of staff is incredible. It is sad that people get angry online and write reviews that truly don't give quality establishments like Harmony Pediatric Therapy justice. I think their team is so great and found Kristen to be such a great support. Harmony Pediatric Therapy is a world class child development and therapy center!

My son has been working with the Harmony team for a few years now, and they have helped him a lot. In addition to working on his sensory issues, they are also helping him to become aware of his body and how he is feeling. They also give him the strategies to focus himself when he’s disregulated executive functioning strategies to help him get through his day and his homework with reduced stress. The staff is supportive, kind and professional, and they provide invaluable support for parents to support their children at home.
