HealthSouth Western Hills Regional Rehabilitation Hospital

My mom has been here on many occasions for cardiac rehab, spinal fusion rehab, and now.. Broken hip rehab. My dad has also received his stroke rehab at Health South. We have always received excellent care! The staff here are very pleasant and helpful in getting my parents bacj on their feet again and able to do at home self care. It's all about what you put into it.. as to what you receive. I would definitely recommend this facility!

The Administrative staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful. Not responsive to phone messages. No one available on a Friday before 4pm.

Used up grandmother's insurance money and sent her home incapable of even standing under her own power. She also told story of staff in the Rehabilitation Facility telling her to go to the bathroom under her own power when even the doctor at the center told them to stay with her so she didn't fall. She cries when talking about it, so it is my belief that they let her fall. For the sake of your family members, if you are reading this post, do NOT take them to this facility. An extra 1-2 hour drive is worth your family member's well-being and livelihood, I promise you.
