Great doctor, explains everything, the reason for 4 instead of 5 is waiting time for appointments and one poor assistant.

Nov 2016-She gave my 15 yr old, athletic daughter the same exact diagnosis, equipment and PT Rx as for me!!  I'm 54 with plantar faciaitis  (spelling), I have full range in motion to be a point ballerina while my daughter had only 30 degrees after warmed up. Daughter had shin splints, growth pain in legs &feet, and needed strength in her ankles. We both were told to wear foot braces at night-- exact same instructions and strapping placement. We were given same pt exercises. We selected our local pt place and had exact same treatment beside each other....**!!!!SCRAPING of our feet and shins WITH A METAL STAR!!!!** Stupid me made my daughter do it 1 time more than me. A huge parental regret!! We were both about crippled in pain for 2 days after!! 

I Called Dr Sandberg and couldn't get her but someone else I talked to listen to my concerns...then the office called the pt people...they called me and pretty much told me if we didn't take the scrapping, then they had nothing else they could do for either of us except we could "join" them with an exercise membership at $35ea per month--- this is a Benchmark office---LOL!!!

Went back to Doc Sandberg at our original date set after 1st visit, abt 8 wks after initial visit. We had been to pt 4 times each (3x first wk, 1 time wk later); daughter NEVER took boot out of the bag; I quit wearing boot at night as it was too restraining and bought a flexable one at WALGREENS that wouldn't kill my dog if I moved in bed and I slept in it a few times; we barely had any changes or improvement in either condition..... but we were released.
***Released because we wouldn't take the scrappings!!***

I wouldn't have my worst enemy scrapped like de-scaleing a fish!! 

CONCLUSION:: We went on a Disney Cruise Feb 2017, on 1st day they had a seminar on walking/feet and back pain....long story short... I bought *GOOD FEET* INSERTS for my shoes and I've walked without pain ever since (9 mths now)!! Pricy but worth every penny!!
In Jan 2017, my daughter googled some exercises for soccer goalkeepers and has added those with some squats; she has drastically increased her range in motion and reduced her pain!!! She also increased her potassium intake.
