The worst Banh mi I have ever had. I ordered a classic sandwich, it’s very dry, I didn’t taste any pate and mayonnaise. The Vietnamese ham just barely 1 slice. The ground pork tasted disgusting . Only one bite and I threw out the whole sandwich. Waste my money.
A true gem in the neighborhood. The classic banh mi was excellent. Very authentic. The marinated ground pork, pickled daikon and carrot, pate and butter on fresh baguette all came together perfectly. Very generous with the meat. The rice with grilled pork with the dipping sauce nuoc cham was very good. The pork was also generous. We arrived just before closing time, the manager took our order no problem. Will be back to try other plates.
I order the Pho with beef broth & grilled pork a lot. It's addictive. The garden and summer rolls with peanut & hoisin dip is also filling and delicious. Other items I enjoy here are the grilled pork sandwich spicy, be careful it is very spicy!, the grilled pork with brown rice and pickled carrots & radish, and Sardine sandwich. They have a good selection of bubble teas as well. Great choices available if your vegetarian too. They have a counter to sit and eat at, takeout is most common, delivery available for orders of $10 and up.
I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich and I was soooo good! The food is SUPER fresh! I’d definitely order this again, it’s a must!
Delicious bahn mi, as a Seattle native I’ve missed the plethora delicious cheap Vietnamese spots on every corner. I’ve found that sane thing here. Great pickled veggies with fresh jalapeño. Can’t go wrong here!
I discovered Henry’s by walking by last Summer. I was ordering from Fonda and found their art work from across the street. This is my favorite Banh Mi and Boba spot in NY. I bike from Greenpoint for this. Love the Thai boba and Classic Banh Mi
This is the best Vietnamese sandwich shop in Park Slope, honestly maybe in Brooklyn. This small family owned shop is legit reason why small local businesses are amazing. I’ve never had a bad sandwich here and I’ve ordered from here at least 85 times. We’ve had friends from Philly request this and drive it to them it’s that good even after a 3 hour drive
Summer rolls, Thai tea, Banh Mi all super fresh and delicious
Easy neighborhood go-to when you don’t want to cook. I get the classic — but spicy and it truly is in the best of ways, and I have a tolerance. I usually get a mango or passion fruit bubble tea to go with. Never disappoints.
Henry's is one of our favorite places in Park Slope/South Slope! We order from here every week and even when we went whole food plant based, we were able to find choices that work. Our old favorites of pork bahn mi and summer rolls were replaced with the vegetarian pork bahn mi and green papaya salad. Although, I still opt for the chicken and sardine bahn mi sandwiches because they're so good. Plus, the owners are so friendly and worked straight through the pandemic. If you haven't been here, come try it out!!
