Herlihy Moving & Storage

They moved my family from Ohio to Virginia and in all there were about 8 guys involved, 4 on each side. In this business your most likely always get a guy or two you aren’t fond of, the the forman however, who worked in both sides was very professional and hard working and kept the guys moving along. Was the third time they moved me so there must be a reason I keep going back. The estimator was great as well.

Our first long distance move we've done together and we both agree that it went very well. From the initial estimate to delivery, we were given accurate, thorough information, quick responses to questions, and hardworking, experienced movers. Nothing was broken or even scratched in the process, and we have heard that is very rare. The movers met challenges (mountain roads, muddy yard, narrow stairs, and a sectional piece that had to be brought up over the back deck) with good attitude and energy which made the day go well and the cost justified. We highly recommend this company.

You hire movers when you realize that you just don't have it in you. It is a lot of effort and work all the while your daily life does not pause. We chose Herlihy over two competitors. They were the most respectful from our initial contact. Their price was comparable to others, but their personalities were far different and more positive. On the day of the move, the guys showed up and went to work. They worked together, worked quickly, and not one time did I here a negative comment or any other show of disrespect. Most importantly, we started to question our own packing skills, though we didn't need to as not a single item was damaged. They took really good care of our stuff. Anyway, as a consumer who hardly ever writes reviews,,, please, if you are moving, please give this company a shot at making your move a successful and less stressful one. These guys are polite and professional. They don't lag around and really get the job done.

Great company, affordable, movers did a great job and worked really hard to move several large pieces of furniture and a very heavy mattress. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.
