Hertz Rent A Car

Had an early morning pick up from this location. Online it says they open at 8am. Was here for 30 minutes waiting for someone to show up. Called the other location to see what I could do about getting my rental but no one picked up either. I called 3 times and no answer. After being 30 mins, a guy just walked in and didn’t apologize or anything for being late. Meanwhile, there were 3 other people in the back sitting in the dark. It’s horrible doing business with these guys. I took a picture of one of the guys being late. Drove up with the car, didn’t inspect or say anything the least. No shame what so ever. Use other car rental places and avoid this place at all cost.

Hertz used to be my favorite company to rent a car but a couple of times I went there I met a disrespectful lady that wants to fight with you instead helping people out and that’s a bad business for the company name, it doesn’t matter if it’s private owned you’re representing the name of the company. Hopefully you know that . This lady works an evening shift and a couple times I have been there to pick up the car I had the worst experience with her. She was rude and disrespectful and I will take my business elsewhere, until they do something about that disrespectful behavior. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone….

Quick and easy collection and drop-off, no upselling, friendly agent. Got a brand new Toyota Tundra with 400miles.

Refused to rent me the car I had reserved because I chose to pay with the debit card that was used to reserve the vehicle. At no time while making the reservation did anyone say a debit card could not be used. The attendant was rude and dismissal and not helpful at all. Tried to receive a rental from the other rental companies available in the airport who were super helpful but had no vehicles available. To top things off they proceeded to charge me for the insurance on a car they would not even rent to me. Will never do business with Hertz again. If you are ever flying into Fargo, ND and need a rental I would advise to stay as far away from Hertz to save yourself a complete waste of time and money.

I typically use National/Enterprise but they didn't have reservations and had to use Hertz. I used them 1 TIME and months later they are saying I returned the vehicle damaged and are seeking claims from me!! The amount of damage to the vehicle is ridiculous and totally noticeable, as in something I wouldn't miss if someone hit me or I hit something. I have elite status with National/Enterprise and never a problem. Hertz is a joke and bunch of thieves. They don't know who damaged the car and they picked me. What a joke you are!

Currently have a rental that does not have a working horn! I’ve called and spoke to different people and they said the manager would call me back never did. I called hertz corporate because they would not help me. The lady on the phone was more helpful then the actual rental place. Was told once they get more cars in that I would get a replacement but have not been called back! They also won’t even answer my calls anymore either! It is illegal to drive a car without a working horn. I’m not even sure I should have to pay. Do not recommend it for anyone at all!

Customer at this specific location for 10 years. Gold rewards member. Will never get my business again. Booked your over priced rental, paid in full with my DEBIT like I have the last 50 + times I've rented from here before. New policy, credit cards only. Would have been nice if while booking online it told me I needed a credit card. Why even accept my payment from my debit? Had to pay for a taxi back home. And a nice little 100 dollar cancelation fee. Oh, and I won't get my money back for 7 - 10 business days. Nice little scam you got going on. I heard Hertz went bankrupt - I guess times are hard and resorting to ripping your loyal customers off seems to be the only business tactic you have left.

I booked my reservation though Expedia. I told the agent it was booked though Expedia. HERTZ at this location created a new reservarion for the same rental and I was charged twice for the same rental. I tried to get a refund of the charges from the airport location, but i have had no luck. Hertz at the airport is an Independant location. Corperate Hertz could not help me. My next step will be to dispute the charge with my credit card. Expedia also reached out to the location and Hertz would not take their call. I will not rent from this location again

I had an excellent experience with Hertz. I was worried about picking up a rental car because our flight landed at 11:40 PM. I called Hertz and they stayed open to ensure I could get my car. Both times I spoke with representatives by the phone, they were very friendly and helpful. Our vehicle was really nice, clean, and perfect for our visit to North Dakota. As an AAA member, I was able to book through the Hertz website for a great rate. The wait to get the vehicle was quick, and the after hours drop off was excellent as well. I want to leave a review for anyone who may have a late flight and need a car - Hertz was an excellent option! If I ever come back to Fargo, Hertz would be my first choice. Thank you for excellent customer service and a great rental experience.

Horrible service!! All the workers fly through the parking lot and almost hit me when I was trying to pull out of the parking lot. Car was filthy and was low on washer fluid also had a big dent on the rear door. The person at the desk wasn't talkative and very said anything. Don't rent from Hertz! They have way higher rates compared to other companies! Won't use Hertz ever again.
