This location is great it's in side the double tree hotel. The staff went out of way to get me a larger car. They are always very clean and new cars.
When Hertz can't locate a car on their lot, rather than do any sort of internal investigation, they file a police report to claim it was stolen by whomever rented it last. If you've ever rented a Hertz car, there could be an arrest warrant out for your name because of their incompetence. People have lost their jobs and been kicked out of their homes because of this policy. Hertz should not be allowed to exist.
They need a new card reader !! Couldn’t rent a car because the card reader wouldn’t read the card. No other way they can input the card numbers in their system for the payment. No chip reader, nothing. With all this technology these and different forms of payment the guy was not even trying to help at all. Went to a different Hertz location and the man there didn’t even try to swipe the card he just called the other location and that was the end of that. Went across the street and got a rental from a different company with absolutely no issue at all.
I was given a free upgrade but it turned out to need the rear tires replaced so that only lasted a week. When I went to trade in the car it took two trips to get things straight and the car that I got was so basic that I can't believe that it is comparable to what I'm supposed to have. The rental it's part of a corporate account so I'm letting my co.pany handle it but I think we're over paying for vehicles through Hertz. Specially when we rent cars for over a month at a time and I'm personally a Gold member. Really disappointing!
I was in a rental because my car was in the shop covered by other persons insurance. I purchased the additional liability coverage at my own expense. The tire of the vehicle was punctured by a nail and I was told that I needed to use my own roadside assistance to have the car towed.....not once but twice. The first time I towed it back to the location where I pick the car up and received a phone call that this was not where they needed the car to be so either I call my insurance company again, or they will tow it and charge me!!! I was never given an address to tow it to. So I could have totaled the car and my insurance company would never have known, but I run over a nail and they need to get involved twice. Then I ask if they take military discount to apply to the cost out of my pocket for the additional insurance I purchased. I was told not for rentals that are covered by insurance because there are discounts already applied. I did not receive any discounted price for my out of pocket expenses. Terrible customer service.
I reserved a rental at this location, but when I arrived to pick it up at the appointed time the location was closed with a sign to go to a different location that was 20 minutes away by car. I had to hire an Uber to get to the new location, incurring additional costs and lost time from work I tried to go during my lunch break. Hertz was unwilling to remedy the situation by providing adequate recourse. Horrible business and poor treatment of customers. Would NOT recommend this location.
This is a lesson learned experience. Always personally check in your returned rental car to ensure correct charges are made. I returned a rental car to this location a day before the scheduled return date using the return box to deposit keys, etc. Before returning it to the location, I filled the gas tank to full at a service station right around the corner from the Hertz location. Upon reviewing my charge card statement and speaking with the attendant, I had be charged an additional $51 for gas because the attendant said the tank was not on full. After further discussions, it came down to his word against my word I guess the customer is not always right. Do everything in person to ensure any discrepancies are resolved.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY BRADLEY "BRAD" WINTER. BAD CAR INVENTORY PLANNING BY LOCATION. I have been a Hertz #1 Club Gold member for 17 years and rent from various rental car companies all the time. I reserved a compact car from this location. When I arrived the location had no compact cars. However they did have other car types available. Brad stated "we may not have a compact car for hours or over the next few days. We haven't had one in weeks". I had to ask him to call other locations to see if they had a compact car available - which they reluctantly obliged. The other 2 locations he called didn't have one either. Instead of providing a complimentary 1-class car upgrade they had intermediate / mid-sized cars available, Brad wanted me to pay the difference between the car I reserved and the car they had available. Never has any rental car company asked me to do such a thing when it's their fault that they don't have the car available. Every single one puts customer service as a priority and provided the complimentary upgrade if they don't have the car available. I will NEVER rent from this location again.
First let me say that the service provided by Al Judy was above and beyond my expectations. Al helped select the right vehicle for our trip. He also stayed in touch prior to the rental to make sure that the car was ready when we were - and it was. Al has made us a customer of Hertz and we'll have no problems referring others to Al when they have a need. Alan W. Elam
We were in an accident INTENTIONAL WRECK FROM ROAD RAGE TOTALLY THE OTHER PERSONS FAULT !I was an passenger both my lawyer and me have called and asked them to send pictures of the vehicle because of a liability claim to the general and no one wants to do it while on the clock they say they will or they have but dont will somebody from up there help me the people just want pictures of the vehicle from date of accident! Jesus if we could just all work together!
