I worked for High Sierra Pools year-round from 2012-2017, and became part of the management team. I learned a lot from the company about legal compliance, safety, and business in general. Staffing is sometimes a problem in the industry, but High Sierra Pools provides better service for their clients than their competitors do. I wish them well, and I recommend their services to anyone who is looking for better quality.

Never been to their pools but a close relative came to work as a life guard. I get this whole give the minimum of minimum philosophy. But how on earth you can't figure out a way to give your employee a day or two off because his/her passport and belongings has been stolen from the very own house you provided for him/her to stay ? Close the damn pool for all I care. The passport is an essential document for an international traveler who has a flight in a few days!!! Oh yes if you are coming with work and travel to Maryland area beware your house might get robbed!

The worst company I have ever had to work for. International students do not come there!! They pay You a miserable salary and charge You a lot for their 'super comfortable' apartments where You gonna sleep on an air mattress, have only 4 half-broken chairs and an old table and as a bonus You will get American cockroaches sleeping next to You or helping You to finish Your meal! Take into Your attention that if You would like to move out they gonna apply a move-out fee on You of $200! And another concern about their stupid irresponsive supervisors who think they are 'big shots' and can tell You whatever they want. Be ready this company will mess up all Your bright impressions from summer in the US!!!
