Highlands

Best chicken & waffles ever! My fiance & I ate here several times a week when we were living right around the corner. We'd take the dog & stroll up to Highlands 5 minutes away, grab an outside table & devour that food 😅 Seriously, the chicken is incredible... It's cut into 2 smaller pieces, which means more of that delicious breading, and then the waffles are ridiculously perfect also... They're so light & airy, with a little crispiness on the edges, and such a great flavor. Aaahhh, I'm tempted to get in the car right now & drive an hour away just to go to Highlands 😊 Definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area!!!

The chicken and waffles is the best thing on their menu. The chicken is juicy and flavorful. The shrimp and grits is also good. You get 4 large fried shrimp with cheese grits. The atmosphere is nice. When you go in you 1st order your food and then sit at the next available table. Once you have a table, they begin to make your food. At 1st it seemed like a weird system but in actuality it is quite efficient.

A friend told me about Highlands, say it is a must restaurant to visit. Oh my Gosh was she right on point. Great food! I will go back again and again until I try everything on the menu lol! Also, staff is very friendly. That's what I am taking about. Highland, may God continue to bless your place of business. Best PoBoy (shrimp sandwich on french bread) in town.

Absolutely love the food. Seasoned perfectly. They are fast. You can smell the food from the street and it definitely lure u in.😍
