Hollywood Casino & Hotel Lawrenceburg

For the most part we enjoy this casino. The hotel is very nice and private, it does get very lively on the weekends. They are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. When you first walk through the security, you'll come across bathrooms, a store and the Marquee rewards counter. Just past that are a couple slots and a little further to your left will be the electronic roulette table next to the live person ran roulette table. But, if you are looking for the black jack and craps table just continue straight and you will find yourself walking through the middle of them. They offer a non smoking slot area on the lower level which can be found in the middle of the casino.

I enjoyed myself, My sister and I had a spur of the moment trip in the area. We were able to enjoy the use of a hotel room. The hotel was very accommodating and it was a wonderful experience. I will be back to enjoy my complimentary hotel stay if not in Indiana then definitely at the Tropicana in Vegas. Thank you so much Hollywood

The casino is beautiful and the restaurants inside are wonderful. The all you can eat crab bar is a steal. The casino itself, whether you like to gamble or not, is a wonderful structure with unique character. If you're in the area, it would even be worth going into the lobby area just to take pictures of the craftsmanship and effort put into the building.

We were here over Easter weekend. Absolutely love the decor, everyone on the casino floor was very nice. Had a decent band playing Saturday night. Downside is, no free drinks on the casino floor and the drink prices are a little high. We decided to do the Easter dinner buffet and were highly dissatisfied. It looked like there was basically just leftovers from brunch, salmon was cold, ribs were black and crunchy, we had to ask for the Carver, who had an attitude, to bring out prime rib. Soup containers were practically empty and we were there right when the dinner buffet opened at 4, so it's not like they just had a rush and hadn't refilled. Very disappointed in it for the price.

I'm a casino lover. The few times that I have been on a Friday or saturday all have not had any form of excitement. Yes there is entertainment as in a live band (country style each weekend I went and I went back to back weekends.) and a club. Other than that the atmosphere is not casino like at all... no energy. But it's a casino.. spin and hopefully win!
