Kentucky Downs

2 sides smoking and non smoking. Only difference was people weren't smoking on non smoking side. Place filled with cigarette smoke. The smoking side had many more machines and different games. Hardly saw anyone offering drinks. Had to ask someone to send them my way. I was only aware of 4 machines that actually one that night. Had fun, but much needs to be improved on here.

Was just coming off vacation from Louisiana. We stopped at this place, thinking we can spend a few more hours on vacation, right? Well we entered, it immediately smelled like an ashtray! Ok, no big deal! Let’s just play a few slots! What a WASTE!!! These machines are rigged!!! I cashed out at one machine with a ticket of $16.95, places it in the next machine, the machine read it as $11.95! Huh? I hadn’t even placed the first bet!!! I stopped a server and told her, she just shrugged her shoulders! I warned my husband a few slots away! He thought it was taking more than he bet! We carefully watched each bet, and the lines!!! After playing a couple of days in Louisiana, I wouldn’t spend another dime here! I went through $35 in less than 15 minutes playing the least amount you could bet on an $.01 slot!!! Which was $.05. So we left and tried their diner! Ordered the hash brown casserole and slaw, Hubby ordered chili dog and hash brown casserole. It took forty minutes and our hash brown casserole was nothing more than a stack of hash browns. No cheese, no onions, nothing, not even salt!! Told the supervisor, she said your server should have told you, I said no, you should change your menu to say just hash browns and take the casserole part off! Never again!!! It’s a shame when I want to support a Kentucky business, just go to Indiana!!!

It's a wonderful place to take your girl for a date night. Great slots and full bar. My wife and I really enjoy going every time we can. All of the associated are so professional and kind. I wish we were there now, sitting in front of a machine .

A fun place to visit. They are remodeling and it looking good. It has a big flat screen TV that I love. I can't wait to see it when they finish. The only thing people smoke in there and a little smoky. You can also have drinks and people are nice will continue to visit.

I’ve always enjoyed horse racing and KY DOWNS has stepped it up. Very professional work environment and very helpful staff. Food is good and the drinks are usually very good. Promotions are good and I call it, FRANKLINS LITTLE GOLD MINE!!
