Harrah's Metropolis

It's not a very big casino. It's non smoking which is good for some but not us smokers. I didn't feel there was a great variety of games. It seemed mostly slots. And I know it's gambling but they could let you win enough to keep playing!! We won nothing!! The most I hit on a $20 was $8!! The staff did seem nice and it is a pretty clean casino. There is a lot of parking and it's easy access. It is far from us, about 2 hrs, and we would never drive it again. We didn't stay at the hotel so can't share anything with that. We do go to many casinos and this one just isn't one we would go to again. It wasn't fun.

We went to the Fresh Buffet twice this week. It was delicious! A very good selection and tasted very good. We had Easter dinner there since it was just the two of us. It was wonderful. The Prime Rib was tender, juicy and mouth watering! We are planning on going back this coming week-end. If you don't go you are really missing a great treat! Harrah's Metropolis the best place to go for dinner, breakfast, fun and a great night away from home!.

The rooms aren't 5-star, the beds are a little worn and the decore isn't much better than you'd find at a Hampton Inn. However... Service is most definitely 5-star, as is the Bridges Restaurant, located on the ground floor to the rear of the hotel. That along with a small but pleasant casino experience makes it a great place to get away for a night or two. It was nice to see Roulette, Blackjack as well as slots on the floor - too many "casinos" have only slots. The exterior of the place really lacks in style, but after you walk in you can tell that this is a Harrah's property.

I really enjoy it the hotel was very clean the service was very professional nice and courteous. The casino is nice, and close to a lot of other attractions. But it would be nice if they would comp some rooms so you could spend more time enjoying gambling and seeing other sites as well

We stopped here for one night on our way home from a roadtrip. The hotel was beautiful and the room was larger than expected. The price was EXCELLENT! We had a great time in the casino.
