Homestead Inn

This was an amazing place and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a wonderful night away. It started by Bob and Renee bringing our bags up to the room and it was so much fun learning about the history of the inn itself while being toured around the property. The room itself was absolutely stunning. There was a binder telling us all about the attractions near New Milford, such as hiking, lakes, and other opportunities. Everything was beautifully kept, and it was so peaceful and relaxing, and when we were a bit hungry before dinner, there were warm cookies or coffee/tea downstairs for all of the guests. Renee personally made a reservation for us at a local Italian restaurant, and the location of the inn was perfect walking distance into the town of New Milford. The breakfast in the morning was amazing - personally made croissant french toast, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, cinnamon apples, and 4 types of juices and coffee. After breakfast, the we spent some time playing chess and reading in the great common room, which was extremely peaceful and well decorated. The entire stay was fabulous, and Bob and Renee were extremely attentive, warm and lovely hosts. I would highly suggest staying here if you are staying anywhere near New Milford!

The Homestead Inn B&B was a luxurious 2 night stay in the town of New Milford. My mom and I enjoyed a girls weekend with the help of Renee's local suggestions for a fun time out-and-about on the town. We took in waterfalls, antiquing, and a great selection of restaurants, a walkable distance from the Inn. Bob's breakfasts and coffee each morning were delicious and quite filling. We both enjoyed them immensely! Overall, our stay with Bob and Renee was all that we could have asked for and the Homestead Inn has some great history the innkeepers shared. Also, the recent renovations were gorgeous and make the B&B feel extravagant, yet quite comfortable!

Stayed in the Inn in the Monroe room. The entire experience was amazing and I would highly recommend. The innkeepers Bob and Renee were very knowledgable about the area and make your entire stay pleasant and inviting. Each breakfast was different and delicious. Hot cocoa, coffee, and tea always on hand for the cold spell we happened to be visiting during. The room felt luxe and modern and the bed was very comfortable. This was the best B&B experience I’ve ever had!!

We stayed 6/30-7/2/17 in the Sherman room. The room was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Bob and Renee (Innkeepers) go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. They certainly enhanced our trip with their vast knowledge of the area and suggestions of things to see, etc. The breakfast was wonderful. The Inn has been completely renovated and is very clean, quaint and comfortable. The location is perfect.

This historic inn was recently renovated to bring out the full charm of the original building and upgrade to modern amenities... the result is fantastic. Our stay was wonderful and I would strongly recommend!
