A mix of Chinese and Japanese food. The combo include rice, soup and vegetables, the amount is quite decent. Recommend scrambled eggs with shrimp, but others were just so so.
They have two sets of menus. Japanese ramen and Chinese steamed rice bowls. I ordered the steamed rice. It tastes good . It would be good if the side vegi can have more seasoning
The most flavorful chicken Ramen I have had. The broth is decadent, the chicken perfectly seasoned, and the amount hearty. I also recommend the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings. Service is very friendly and makes you feel like family.
A quirky place where you can order either rice dishes or ramens. I ordered pig feet rice which tastes so good. The veggie and soup that came with are all very flavorful. Overall the meal has no grease and little sodium. I felt the meal was both delicious and healthy. The staff was also extremely friendly. Will be coming back every week.
It's been a while since I've been back here ~6 years. I came back and wanna see if they changed. Not much. It's still a quiet and peaceful place. The food does taste different from back then. I got the chef special ramen which I used to get all the time here. It didn't taste like it used to. It's not as rich as it was before and did not fill me up. The good thing about the place is it's still a peaceful place.
An Asian restaurant with a Japanese name located in a plaza dominated by Chinese cooks make the food here delicious but somewhat inauthentic. Worth going out of your way for, but temper your expectations if you're here for "Japanese". Interior is somewhat bare and feels visually cramped despite being spacious enough.
Date of visit:. 01/02/2023. Parking is abundant with EvGo super charging stations. Cliff notes version: I would not go back. Break it down into 3 components:. 1. The noodles; overcooked and lacks thickness and texture compared to Orenchi, for those that have been there. 2. Broth: standard but nothing to write home about, medicare. 3. Toppings and meat:. Pork was too salty but there were a lot of pieces. This place was the most generous with their protein portions compared to others I've visited. The lack the standard egg in the R5 item that I ordered. And there were no adds on like corn, bamboo shoots etc. My partner ordered the R8, shrimp tempura which was essentially like mine except a different broth and the shrimp tempura was on the side. Hope this helps your decision
Huge portions for a great value quality is decent overall. Great for a quick bite and casual dining . Can fit groups of 4 easily and they have flexible seating to accommodate larger groups of 8 or even more if needed. Staff is quick to prepare the meals so no need for long waits. I can see that changing with busier crowds though. They serve you hot tea as the sit down beverage of choice and you'll have to ask for water if you need it. There is male and female restroom. Overall decent place to checkout.
It is Chinese restaurant instead of Japanese. For ramen, it is not bad but not impressed at all. I also ordered steamed spareribs, and it was great. I think it is best to order Chinese food here. The service is fast and staff is friendly.
Typical quantity over quality food. Ramen was overly large portion, flavor pretty mediocre. No depth to the soup flavor and noodle seemed overcooked. I am not a picky rating person, but if you’re looking for good ramen and you are someone that cares enough to read reviews first.. I hope you read this and stay away because it’s quiet obvious they don’t care about their ramen quality. Maybe the other dishes are good, who knows.
