I started at Horizons as a counselor at their summer camp in 2012, the year I graduated high school. I pursued some post-secondary education, came back to Horizons at the beginning of 2015 and worked in their Supported Employment department, and now currently their Supported Living department. I've seen all side's of this agency and am proud to be apart of such a great organization. I love the work atmosphere and also admire their person center mission that is taught to each and every new employee that walks through the doors at Horizons. They treat their employees right, and most importantly, the individuals they support!

I wish I could rate this organization lower than 1 star I would. This organization is a disgrace and they treat their employees terribly, as well as their clients. Do not support this place and please bring your loved ones elsewhere.

Our Daughter Jennifer has DS and attended the 2 week camp for the first time in July - Aug 2016. She really enjoyed her time at Camp Swimming, Boating, Horseback Riding, getting better fit and making many new friend's with both campers and counselors alike. We we kept well informed by counselors E-Mails we received during her camp that let us know how she was doing and about the 2 awards she won in Literature and Shakespeare and Music. She really enjoyed her Camp Horizon CT and is already talking about her next opportunity to join them for another great Summer Camp experience, hopefully in 2017.
