A very nice and spacious rooms. A bit dated but charming. The water in the tap can be very hot, almost burnt my children. Same with the radiator - I just switched it off. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Not very noisy as for NYC. Staff was friendly and helpful. On a photo - view from the roof top.
Best hotel experience Upper East Side. Ideal location for access to museums and Central Park.
We had initial issues when we booked but the hotels manager was such an amazing woman. She went out of her way to make sure we had amazing accommodations and were comfortable in our room. I appreciate all the help the hotel gave us and our room had a beautiful view and clean. Thank you hotel Wales
Rooms are rather small for the price, close to Central park
My husband and I came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved the old world charm of the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. We are sad to learn it will be converting to condos soon. So happy we got to stay before that happens.
We stayed here for NYC Marathon weekend. Fantastic neighborhood. Awesome views from roof deck.
