I started my dogs (mastiff/lab mixes) in training when they were 14 weeks old at another facility. After 3 6-Week courses, our results were not good. The dogs were having severe anxiety during class. John offered to evaluate the dogs, for a second opinion. After meeting with him, I felt confident in his skills as a trainer. We have taken 2 more classes with Howliday and are scheduled for our third. The dogs are very well behaved now and have passed their canine good citizens courses. Also, the dogs really seem to enjoy daycare and boarding.

We have a food / dog aggressive dog whose behavior was getting progressively worse, causing us and our other 3 dogs a great deal of anxiety. On the recommendation of our vet and several others, we sent our dog to a week-long boarding and training session here. We called during the week and got updates, and they additionally post daily videos of dogs so you can see your dog interacting with the pack. At the conclusion of the week, our trainer, Brandon, came to our house to review the results, including videos of some of the training sessions. Most importantly, he spent several hours with us showing us how our behaviors were contributing to the problem, and how to more effectively set boundaries for the dogs. There is still more work to be done for us, but by the end of the time with Brandon we were able to walk our aggressive dog alongside our other dog with whom she had been fighting with little signs of the previous bad behavior. We are happy with the results so far, and plan to continue working with Brandon and the team at Howliday to continue to improve the quality of life for us and our pack.

We highly recommend John. He has helped us tremendously with our Bloodhound. He is an excellent trainer for both you and your canine. We would never go anywhere else.

They have so much knowledge about dog behavior and how to manage it. As a dog lover, I am excited about how much I have learned! As a dog owner, I am excited and RELIEVED! I highly recommend their classes and/or training. I have had dogs my whole life and I had no idea there was so much I did not know. I currently have a very nervous pup and Brandon came out and showed us how to handle him in certain situations. It's like watching miracles unfold. Their daycare is also amazing. I know I have nothing to worry about when I need to drop my pups off for a bit. I'm also comfortable leaving them overnight if I head out of town for weekend trips or vacation. This was something I had struggled with in the past. Being nervous about leaving them can put a damper on the fun. Knowing they are out with the pack and having fun in a secure area, instead of being locked in a kennel or at home with someone who may or may not be able to control their puppy ways, is a huge sigh of relief.
