Humboldt County Fairgrounds

Was surprised to find out we could camp here on a spontaneous road trip. Nice place with friendly camp hosts. And a great price at $12 for the night. Thanks for a welcoming, helpful place to rest along the way!

Pretty area, quaint town. Host is very friendly. WiFi sucks, no privacy

I almost don't want to review because it is a little-known, quiet, clean and cheap place to stay. The woman who is a host was extremely rude to us but the gentleman was very sweet. We had paid and she was hassling us, saying she had no way to tell if we had paid. Was confused as to how this was our problem and how we would solve it? Morning came and first thing wenwent in to talk to the office. They were very kind and let us know they had received our payment. We paid for the next night, moved as far away from the woman as possible and had no problems after that. Clean facilities! Great showers. Pet friendly. Fun to explore the fairgrounds. Will stay again if in the area. Ridiculously cheap compared to anywhere else close.

older fair grounds, has stable and arena areas that the public can use. Nice country feel
