Huron River Valley - Sandusky Resort, Marina And Campground

A beautiful spot however they gave us the worst spot in the place I think, it was pure marsh (very wet and soupy) and we barley had room to back our rv in. They also failed to tell me on the phone at the time of booking that they charge per day for Wi-Fi access. Not all spots have full hookups. They also charge a $3 booking fee, Just fyi.

Huron River Valley is my favorite campground ever! Yes, there are bugs. Yes, the closest restroom is a port-a-potty. But, it's camping! I love that we can be right on the water and watch nature up close. There are "real" restrooms and showers closer to the main office. Our golden retriever really loves that the campground is dog friendly! The kids enjoy the playground and the inflatable jump pillow. There is often bands or events on the weekends at the pavilion. Also, docking for boats is available. The staff is always friendly and remembers our family. The office has a small store with food staples and almost anything that you may have forgotten; firewood, toothbrushes, worms for fishing, etc. I always appreciate the security of a gate that keeps random people from driving through the campground at night.

Great place to camp, clean and the management goes above and beyond what any other campground does. Live bands, DJ's, fishing,boating and canoe and kayak rentals and direct access to Lake Erie within minutes. Activities for all ages. Cabins are very nice compared to ones we stayed in and equipped very well for the price. All around great place friendly campers and nice lots.

Nice place to camp. I really enjoy camping here. It is quite and the people are friendly. The river is beautiful. You can swim kayak canoe and go fishing. Good place to take nature walks also.

Fantastic spot for camping, very clean and well organized. The rustic camping has some fantastic river side sites that will leave you ready to come back again.
