The birthplace of American Independence. The history that is in these halls is something that all should experience at least once. It is a wonderfully preserved national landmark and the volunteers who take groups through the guided tours are incredibly knowledgeable, and the tale they tell about the birth of America is both moving and profound. Forget what you learn in school, and get first hand experience in Independence Hall. Walk the very threshold that our Founding Fathers did, and gaze on the room, the table, where the documents that build this Nation were drafted.
The experience here is truly remarkable. Wait times for groups aren't too long, just know that the free tickets to get in are handed out at the visitors center a block away, so plan that out in advance. Once you get in, the volunteers tell the great story they have to share, and offer a few moments to take photos in each room before continuing on. I highly recommend making the trip to Philadelphia and making sure that you plan for Independence Hall.

What a wonderful little place to sit and enjoy life. Very clean . Very relaxing. Grounds are quite well maintained and was quite pleased to notice an absence of dog waste . Always a plus. The weather and the view during my visit were spectacular. And I will definitely come relax here again

Park that includes the Constitution Center the Liberty Bell in the original Independence Hall. Independence Hall requires time tickets so you have to get there early in order to get those or you can get a few of them online or is there for a small fee. Most of them are given out at the start of the day though, so get there early. Liberty Bell is free just have to go through security and wait a little while Independence Center has a fee, but has little bit of History a lot of school tours. Well I have a little bit of a great that you can't reserve more tickets online, this is a good place for people to learn a bit about American history and get a picture with the Bell. There's also parking lot under the park we have three levels so you should be able to find parking at most days. And it's relatively reasonable for price as it goes for the area downtown.

We waited in line early to get tickets for the Independence Hall tour because they booked out online early. We got to see the birthplace of America and where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Our tour guide gave us a great history lesson which was short but very interesting.
As for the liberty bell we went 2 different days but the line was out the building down the street So we didn't get to see it up close. We did get a decent view of it from a side window that has an automated system that explains the history.

The Liberty Bell was easier to see than getting into Independence Hall. We lucked out. A large tour canceled at the last minute and we were able to get in. It was totally worth it. Our tour guide was the best. She even shares her own copies with her co-workers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Very cool experience.
