As part of our country's important first history, this place is a history-buffs dream. The park is exceptionally well maintained. The staff is knowledgeable, committed, and excited to tell you the story of Valley Forge. This place is littered with Masonic notes which is admirable. Finally, the park has one of the best arrangement of dogwoods I have seen at a government run park.

Today on Saturday May 26th 2018 We went to Valley Forge park for my brothers wedding. This national park has a lot of history to it. They also give guided tours,or you can ride bikes, jog, fish,or walk on their numerous amount of winding in and out walk ways. This was my first time going here and it was a beautiful day just hot. But have a great time with your family as this park is a great place to come and have a picnic with your family and spend some quality time with your family away from all the business of the cities and working. So here's to all of our hero's on this Memorial Day weekend for all you have sacrificed for our country. God bless America...

This way a very nice place to do some walking, running or biking but one thing that needs to be addressed is the vehicles going way over posted 25mph throughout the park. if your wanting to see other monuments you have to walk on the roadway for the cars which several people were doing with bikes or just walking. I even waved for them to slow down, and yelled its 25mph please slow down. This is a National Park and there are plenty of like children running around that could get away from there parents or even your dog and their would be no chance of the vehicle stopping in time. There needs to be a park officials that enforce this kind of safety especially at and beyond the Wayne Statue. It was very informative and a great history learning experience besides us along with others walking almost getting ran over by people going 40 plus mph. Go slow and enjoy it's not a race.

Great history. We try to learn something new every visit. It's a shame that the budget has been cut so much in all the state parks. A lot of damage to buildings has and is still occurring. You can see some buildings have recent repairs but I really wish it would never get to that point. Is cheaper to maintain than it is to repair major damage. It's such a large park with trails that go from miles. Everyone was smiling and very friendly.

A beautiful national park steeped in history. Many ranger led programs and tours are available for kids. Wonderful walking and biking trails. Beware of ticks in the area. Chester county and surrounding areas have a higher than average incidence of Lyme disease.
