Innovative Dental Care - Summer A. Gerheauser, DDS

CAUTION! Please do your research before going to Summer. I had to have all the work completed at this office redone at a different dentist (two crowns paid out of pocket). I am connected with others who have experienced the same issues and will be actively filing a lawsuit against this office. If you have also been impacted, please contact me. She has duped patients out of thousands of dollars, and refuses to refund any money or even speak with them after her fault. This is a very unethical practice.

My husband and I were patients for several years. I got a new health insurance that didn't cover dental. We called ahead and cleared it with them and got the amount it would cost for a cleaning and check up. Without asking my husband, they did additional xrays they hadn't mentioned in the phone call. When paying, the bill was 3x higher than they had quoted. When asked about it they said they can't give a referral without the special panoramic shot. He said he didn't want a referral, he had specifically called ahead and just wanted the cleaning. They refused to take the $180 x-ray off the bill. They never asked permission to do it or told him it would be extra. He never gave consent. A friend of mine that is a dental hygienist said those x-rays costs the company maybe $20 to take and they chose to lose 2 long time patients instead of reducing or refunding it. It was quite disappointing.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience! Would definitely recommend as a great office for the whole family.

I am posting this review for my relative: I can not picture myself in another's dental chair I've have nothing but good experiences at innovative dental I've been very well informed by all to make what I believe to be great dental care, I look forward to staying with Summer and staff for quite a long time they do feel like family to me. - Ric D.

I really, really, love this office! I came here a couple of years ago after having another dentist in town really mess up some fillings. I love the technology they use in the office and they have caught several issues with my kids teeth. My teenage daughter had some very serious canine teeth issues which had gone completely unnoticed by our prior two dentists. Dr. Gerheuser helped us through getting all of that taken care of, recommending oral surgeons and orthodontists and helping guide us through what needed to be done. My 6 year old son loves this office so much that he asks me about his hygienist (Katie) several times a month! He actually asked me this morning when his next appointment was which is what prompted me to write this review! We love this office and even though we recently moved further away, I will always continue to make the extra drive!
