My husband and I ate at the Iowa 80 truckstop last week. The food was excellent! I had the buffet. It was suppose to be $14.99 but the server gave it to me for $10.99 because the manager forgot to change the price on the sign. The buffet had a large variety of food. It was amazing! Everything was homemade. My husband ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. Also homemade and delicious! Our total bill was around $22. Well worth it! Server was also extremely friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely will be back!

Foods middle of the road and the service is pretty good. The atmosphere was nice. And I would have given it another Star if not for one thing.. When I ask for a receipt that shows the balance paid. A don't need a waitress telling me some BS line about how they can't print a finished paid in total recipe. Because any other business I work with is capable of doing this. Why is this chick giving me this BS static? Manager got me what I wanted. But the point is. It shouldn't be a issue if I ask for something as simple as a paid off recipe. Just Saying.

Mediocre is how I would describe the food. Salad was ok. Baked potato was old. Dinner roll never came with one of the salads. And the 18.00 steak was chewy and had zero flavor. Waitresses were to busy to actually serve you.

We came on Friday 3/16/18 and ate off the buffet today Sunday 3/18/18 We came in to eat and after looking at buffet we decided to order off menu. Why? The same foods on Friday are offered today except the corn beef and cabbage they didn't get rid of yeterday and added it today. No Thanks!

Was ignored and treat very rudely by waitress at counter dining area. Walked past me twice and didn't even ask if I needed a menu or a drink. Then she had the nerve to make a smart comment to me. I walked out and ate somewhere else. I'll remember that when I make a decision on where to spend a 34 hour rest (and spend money on all the gadgets and novelty items I can get for less on Amazon). -Dan "Shooter" Pearce CTBS Trucking, LLC DOT: 3004982
