Machine Shed Restaurant Davenport

Since we are all on a business trip they were extraordinary accommodating giving us Separate Checks for a table of eight. Someone explained that this restaurant was the Cracker Barrel on steroids wasn't lying. Love the kitch in the front store. The restaurant is a nice size, the waitstaff is kind and courteous, and we were there on all-you-can-eat chicken night and that was fabulous! Since we are all on a business trip they were extraordinary accommodating separate checks for table of 8. I love the chicken so much that I went back another night by myself and got it to go for my friends and I in our hotel.

Amazing food and good service after i:00 PM on a Tuesday evening. The coleslaw and the apple chunks were crisp and well seasoned, the bread bowl was well stocked fresh and tasty. The meatloaf was awesomely good... Rich, lots of meat flavor, and all kinds of tasty surprises lurking inside! The Machine Shed mashed potatoes are always worth a trip all by themselves. I would have loved to have been able to eat desert too, but I was already past my limit!

Birthday dinner for our daughter. Staff was wonderful. Manager checked on us twice. Food was delicious and plentiful. All you can eat BBQ ribs night. Dinner for 6 was under $100.

Well deserving of a 5-star rating. Absolutely delicious home-cooked food at extremely reasonable prices. Very large portions. If you go hungry here, it's not the restaurant's fault. Service is always great. I've been here dozens of times and always try to stop if I'm going by on I-80. I've never had one bit of bad food here.

Featuring homestyle farmhouse cooking and an Iowa institution, the Machine Shed hosts visitors from around the world with excellent food and hearty service. Had a wonderful lunch with family and friends there, including amazing pork chops and homemade cinnamon applesauce, fresh baked bread and a cool iced tea. Will definitely be back!
