Boonie's On the Avenue

Always wonderful to go there. Clean, friendly and good food. Miss some old menu items but impressed how frequently they change things up. Prime rib looked excellent and burgers and salads are amazing. BLT was ... eh. My choice to go simple, but bacon was tough and harder than I'm used to. (Because I usually get cheap bacon and burn it. Probably dont know how to appreciate good food. ) highly recommend Boonies!

This is the hometown sports bar you have always been searching for!! Service, food, atmosphere, employees, management... all top-notch!! Get the breakfast burger... yes, it is that good.

We are from out of town and had asked for recommendations for where to eat in Muscatine and multiple people said Boonie's. Wasn't sure what to expect especially since we had 10 of us, but it was amazing. Every person loved the food they got and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, lots of tv's and young people,but..The hamburger meat is terrible, It tastes like the frozen patties you would find at a ballpark , rubbery, not good.The menu said it was Angus beef,Far..Far...Far from that. Looks like it's preformed and then frozen in packs of fifty. I gave the restaurant three stars due to the staff and speed in getting the food to us. I went there a second time and tried different food..No hamburgers, much better. Get better hamburger and I would give you five stars.

Food is mediocre and service is even worst. Good selection of beers on tap. Probably should just stick with being a regular bar and not trying to be a restaurant.
