Billy's High Hat Diner

The only disappointment I have is in myself.... that I didn't eat at this restaurant before today!! We ordered through chomp today and even though the food was luke warm when it got here it's still the best breakfast we've ever had in Iowa City!! We're Iowa City locals who have tried almost every breakfast joint. What we particularly liked was the quality of ingredients. The homemade biscuits are no joke- they are SO good. My husband had the fried chicken breakfast hash, I had the brioche French toast. Both amazing! Their fresh squeezed OJ is also really great! We look forward to coming in person next as I'm sure the food is even better yet! Yum!!

Favorite breakfast place in Iowa City. Cute location and great food. Service is a little hit or miss, as they seem to be understaffed. You wouldn’t guess it from the street, but they even sell cocktails!

Great food, great service. Pancakes are to die for, and the Mexican brunch offerings are unique and delicious. Will, for sure, be returning.

Yum yum yum. Very cute but small restaurant. Since it's small, it gets a bit noisy. But the food is great. Not the fastest service, but it's worth the wait. Good coffee and oj.

Went on a Sunday morning wait was short. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and came in a reasonable amount of time. The price was compairable to other restraunts. No question will return again.
