Iowa e bike

The owner of this shop took a bike back to his shop for a simple brake handle repair and said that he would bring it back in a week. He didnt bring it back nor did we hear from him after a couple of weeks so we started trying to get hold of him by phone. We left several messages but he did not reply. Eventually his voice mail was full. We tried to get hold of him every day for a month straight. Could not get hold of him at his shop or by phone. We had to contact the Carroll police department about the matter. Finally the morning after contacting the police, he answered the phone. Patrick claimed that he had to order all these parts and the motor to the bike was burned out and he had the bike torn apart so it was in pieces and we couldnt come get the bike. Remember it only needed the brake handle fixed he asked us to call back the next morning stating that he was also working for another bike company... obviousle all of this made us feel uncomfortable so the next morning we drove over and got there before the shop opened. We called him a little after 8. He said he was already driving to Logan. I reminded him about the conversation of wanting the bike back. He again stated it was in pieces. I told him we still wanted it back. He said he'd call me back in 5 minutes. We waited. Miraculously he pulled up to the shop within 10 minutes fast trip home from Logan huh There was a trailer sitting by the shop. Low and behold.. he unlocked the trailer and theres the bike, in one piece. Unfixed but in one piece. The owner of the bike whom is mentally impaired which is why I got involved asked him how the motor got blown. He denied saying it and did not say another word. He rolled the bike off then saw me standing there. His face went totally blank. He locked the trailer back up, got in his suv and left without saying a word to me. BUSTED PATRICK! YOU GOT CAUGHT LIEING! BAD BUSINESS! We loaded the bike up and had it fixed by another business in Carroll in less than 2 hours.... and iowa e-bikesthe owner Patrick had the bike for 5 weeks and 3 days... Shame on you Patrick for taking advantage of a mentally impaired older gentleman. Its people like you who should not be in business.

I had my recumbent trike modified to incorporate an electric boost drive. The work was done well and the price was very reasonable.
