This park has paved trails that include elevation changes. The total distance is a couple miles. Taking the loop a couple times provides for an effective workout. Pleasant surrounding with the pond, amphitheater, historic school, and a short nature trail.

Ironwoods is a super nice, woodsy public park. There are trails, a lake, cabins, a nature center, a historic schoolhouse, a few large climbing structures, a large lodge for receptions and a variety of programs. Not only are the facilities first rate, but the staff also is top notch. We took Cub Scouts here for an overnight in the cabins, a nature program in the nature center, a historical program in the schoolhouse and climbed on the alpine tower.

I love to take walks and Ironwoods Park is a lot of fun to walk through.
