I bought gizzards 12 piece box. It was extremely crunchy on the outside and tough on the inside. It was also lacking Jack Pirtle Taste. When ordering customer service was lousy. The person taking your order pretended not to hear you. This is very disappointing because I always look forward to eating Jack Pirtle Chicken.
If you want a good ol chicken box, this is you're spot! And what's different is it comes with this peppery gravy for dipping I guess.
Visited the highland location today June 10th at 11am, very disappointed. I spent $20 for 8 pieces of chicken that had the smell and taste of old grease. My fries was cooked in old grease as well. This place is usually pretty good. I should've went somewhere else.
This experience wasn't so good. Lady at the window was rushing while I was trying to place my order and when I got around to pick up my order, she took her time taking my money and giving me my food. My livers were really burnt and the cup she gave me was leaking. Before I could ask for another cup, she closed the window and walked away as if she didn't want to be bothered. Could be better.
Had to bump reviews down went to JP on 8/21/19 food was not good chicken. Love the fries.the gallon of Ice Tea is worth getting nice flavor just a little tap too sweet but lemon juice make it delicious .
Good steak sandwiches with normally friendly service. Dont get any gravy on your fingers tho, you might accidentally bite it. Best gravy around. Not sure I'd eat there without it
Very tasty food, love the fries and gravy, and the chicken taste great. I had bones in my fried chicken on the chicken sandwich I ordered, though. Wasn't a huge deal, but still very good
I don't know if the recipe has changed or they were just having a bad day. The gravy was watered down and the chicken was barely seasoned. I drove quite a distance in the rain to get it. So not worth it!
The food is usually good, but the service ALWAYS stinks. I went through the drive-thru today, placed my order and waited at least 10 minutes for the employee to hand me the food, and it was missing the corn. Then she charged me for it! That is some sorry customer service. Just making the corn complimentary would have made up for the long wait. The lady ahead of me had been parked and waiting since I got there. She even had to get out of her car and walk up to the window to wait another 5 minutes. Boo!!! I love the food, but why is it such a frustrating experience *every* time I go??
Last night you all played me.. 1st of all the open sign was off and it wasn't 10pm yet. I pulled up to speaker and you made me wait almost 4 mins before you even answered the speaker. Got to window and still waited another 3 or 4 mins only for you to pass me a box of old liver and greasy fries.. Then you didn't have any biscuits. I was very disappointed. I got my refund and went home in disappointment. The cashier was very sweet, he gave me no attitude at all.
