Beware of the Curry Goat!!!! My friend and I decided to have lunch today at this location. My friend and I have eaten here several times in the past and we have always ordered the Curry Goat. Well, today I found a piece of hair in my Curry Goat. I told one of the servers that I found hair in my food. He politely apologized and asked me if I wanted him to remake my order. I said yes, he fixed me a new plate and I went to sit down with my friend. Not too long after, a woman approached our table and proceeded to explain to me that the hair I found in my food wasn’t human hair but hair from the actual goat. My friend and I looked a little puzzled because we have order this dish many times and have never found hair (human or animal) in our food before. I told the lady that the hair I found looked like it was human, she proceeded to correct and said they purchase the meat from a local farmer and the meat comes with the hair on it. Correct if I am wrong, but there should never be hair in food whether it comes from a human or animal. I was really disappointed in the service I received because I didn’t make a scene when I discovered finding the hair in my food and felt like this woman really escalated the situation when there wasn’t a reason to do so. If I am paying $15 for a plate of food, I don’t want to find any hair in my plate nor do I want an explanation for why there is hair in my food. And another thing, I really didn’t have very much goat meat on my plate, most of what I was given was mostly bones and no meat!!! Jamaica way needs to start purchasing their goat meat from a different farm or take this food item off the menu entirely because there is no excuse or reasonable explanation for hair to be on or in the meat!!!

My first time here and I loved it ! I order curry chicken with yellow rice and collard greens !! Also great customer service!!

I’m into comfort food. Something that will stick to your ribs and taste like momma cooked it. I have found that here. Oxtail with rice and a side of cabbage. It is last meal type food. I can’t come to the Farmer’s Market and not get this food.

One of the best Jamaican restaurant I visited. This restaurant is my must stop place Everytime I visit Nashville. Whole fish and jerk Chicken are my favorite.
