James' Breakfast and More

I had never heard of James’s until this past weekend when a few friends and I got together for a day out. We started with breakfast, and I was nothing short of amazed. Now, I pride myself a connoisseur of breakfast foods (; It was hard to choose because everything looked delicious, but I settled on the Cast Iron Killer. The meal was incredible, the dish PACKED with flavor, the portion was not immense, but just right. I didn’t need any more at all! And at just $9? Absolutely! The coffee was great, the music selection wonderful, and the atmosphere very appealing. The service was friendly and timely, even on a busy Sunday morning. This is 10/10 my new breakfast stop, and I have a list to choose from!

Always enjoy our omelettes at James' and once the waitresses see you a few times, they treat you like buddies. Kitchen staff is great and run a clean, fresh operation. Fresh produce, food is prepared with care, homemade cinnamon swirl bread is great!

I came here Friday morning. It is a nice place clean, friendly timely staff. I ordered 3 eggs over easy, home fries , white toast ,sausage , coffe , apple juice. The food came out pretty quick when I received my food I noticed the home fries were sliced like scallop potatoes kinda a dark brown color had roasted peppers and onions on top some good some cooked to a crisp (onions and peppers) same with the potatoes some were soft others were hockey pucks actually pulled one from my mouth it was rock hard , my eggs were ok but bit over done browning on bottom side and yoke almost cooked through not much left to dip my bread in which was good bread but not toasted in a toaster but looked like it was chucked under open flame kinda burnt in spots not toasted well, needed butter(none was offered or do I remember jelly being handy). The sausage was good not a ton of flavor but was cooked on open flame had char marks like a steak which gave it flavor. Coffee was good ,juice was good but just store bought from plastic container .all that being said I ate most of it and was full was a good portion . The thing that got me was the $22w/tip dollar bill for breakfast . It was good but not that good for the price.

Great food amazing location, friend ly staff. Looking for really nice breakfast or lunch without a crazy price tag this is the place, truly a pleasant surprise.

I got the grilled veggies salad. It was just a ton of bagged lettuce topped with giant pieces of barely grilled squash with no flavor. The dressing was just ok. All this for $9...and $6(!) if you want to add chicken. My little one got a very small bowl of Mac n cheese for $5. I love to support local places, but this was overpriced and the food was just ok.
