Beware the legions of Fanatics who love this place. Do not get between them and the sandwiches. the sandwiches are good the service is efficient there are long lines. It is not especially cheap. But it is good and fun. And they really care about their product, extra credit for that.

The soft buns used for their sandwiches are top of the line scrumptious and everything they put in between them whether it's the turkey or the roast beef doesn't get much better. The subtle crunch on every bite is memorable. I'd rather come here than go to a local deli.

I tried the Pork Fennel. It was alright, just pork and fennel. Mostly fennel. Nothing was especially bad but nothing spectacular. My wife had a basic roast beef on wheat with provolone, lettuce, pickles and Dijon mustard. She said it was alright, again, just passable. The house made chips and limeade were excellent, though. Overall, I don’t see how this was voted as one of the top sandwich places in Boston. Maybe Boston’s not known for its sandwiches.

The sweets on Fridays and Saturdays from visiting baker Breadboard Bakery are simply the best (especially the kolaches, don't miss the kolaches). Cutty's also makes some dynamite breakfast sandwiches.

Cutty's is my favorite places for sandwiches in Boston hands down. I like to say that the only thing I miss about my old job is not being able to go there for lunch. Everything is delicious and well made from the classics to the specials. I particularly love the eggplant spuckie, broccoli raab, tomato jam and mozz special, the Thai sausage special, the roast beef and the bacon greens. Desserts and home-made potato chips also great. The folks who own this place started out at American's Test Kitchen and know their stuff. I take people here from out of town it's that good. Pictures is the vegan donor special from the other week. Excellent per usual.
