This is a delicious breakfast spot that my husband and I went to to celebrate my birthday our weekend in Boston. Their menu has traditional delicious breakfast favorites from Benedict’s, to pancakes, waffles to omelets. Apparently they also do dinner once in a while to check their website for that as well. We got there right at 8am opening time and there were about 25-30 people waiting already! The hostess and owner (I think) were very pleasant and nice letting people come in from the cold even before they officially opened and sat down people as quickly as they could. We did not have a reservation but were seated after a ten minute wait. The food was delicious. I had a veggie omelet and my husband had the salmon egg Benedict. Would definitely return because there were so many good things on the menu I would love to try them all! Definitely recommend!

Great Cambridge breakfast spot! We were part of a huge group that was accommodated nearly seamlessly during a really busy Sunday brunch. Service was on the ball and our food came out very quickly. I had the corned beef hash, which was ample and tasty though a tad salty. All the other dishes I saw looked really good too, so I don't think you could miss here.

Overall, a good experience. Omelet was decent, pancakes were better. The staff is generally very nice and friendly, you are greeted with a warm smile. A bit on the pricey side for the food (~$15 for the omelet, compared to ~$8 and ~$12 comparable dishes in two other breakfast places nearby, with same or better quality food) Our experience was not great with our waiter (probably a one-off), we ordered coffee and a mimosa which took at least 20 minutes to arrive, long after the food arrived. As soon as we were done with our plates (not even), our waiter brought the check as if to tell us to leave soon. Also, it is really bit uncomfortable paying the check on an iPad and having to adjust your tip while your waiter is standing and looking at you. The regular bring-the-check-and-pick-it-up-later works just fine for me everywhere else. Overall, good food, nice atmosphere, spacious. Few points above could be improved.

I have been to Cafe Luna once before (the small one near Toscanini's) but this was my first time to the one near Kendall/MIT. There was a long line as usual, however, knowing that this is a popular brunch place, we decided to wait (30 minutes). They do offer seating at the bar while you are waiting, but I prefer a table and not sit in close proximity while eating. We ordered the corned beef hash Benedict and caramel stuffed waffles with caramelized bananas and pecans. The corn beef Benedict was delicious, however, the waffles had extra caramel sauce which made them extra sweet. The cappuccino I got was was actually a latte and not made properly. Overall, it was a decent experience. I do think that the prices can be a little lower considering he food isn't organic and Cafe Luna uses similar ingredients as any other diner.

Top notch service, great coffee, lovely space, good brunch - everything was fine (my wife's poached eggs were a little undercooked and she decided not to eat them nor complain) but I think that my expectations were a little too high after reading the glowing reviews online. I got the corned beef hash, their signature dish, and it was perfectly good but not mind-blowing like I had been led to believe. I've definitely had better. However. I would return again to try something else and have more of that coffee.
