Love the food here. Be prepared for their interesting seating model. You wait in line until you have ordered then are seated as your food comes out. This allows for the greatest flow of customers, and it actually works quite well. Just be prepared to be standing for a while as this place is popular, for good reason.
Overall, definitely one of the better casual restaurants in the area, and I highly recommend granted you are ready to wait for a while.

Overall: Great food with decent prices, Paramount is a go-to diner experience!
The good: The place has a charm and charisma with the rush and amount of people all packed into one tiny place.Typical diner fashion with the cooks right there in front of you when you order. The menu is large and well-varied between savory or sweet options. More importantly, though, the food was great. Hot, well-portioned, and a great combination of flavors.
The not-so-good: The line can get incredibly long, it probably took us 20 minutes to order, and when we left it was even longer. The restaurant is cozy, but that means when it's crowded there's not a lot of room to navigate. That also means that it's loud with all the people and chaos.
Atmosphere: 8/10
Service: 8/10
Food: 8/10

Solid food, but expect a long wait if you're here during one of their busy times. The line can easily stretch out the door during peak hours as well, making this a location that much more difficult to dine at. Although it may seem difficult to get a table, as there is a policy against other members of your party saving a table ahead of time, we had no problems finding seating once we had our meals. Food and portions were average for the area. Though I hear the main attraction can sometimes be the famous or noteworthy customers that sometimes pay this location a visit.

Coming from Toronto, I suppose I am used to sitting and being served. Here you order and they find a seat for you. The restaurant is small so this causes a little havoc. Had the avocado sunshine which was really good. The coffee was good too. Such a crowd that you can't just sit and take your time.

This is one of my favourite places for brunch. I like how everyone gets seated even though there is not enough space, the idea of waiting in the line until you get your food works out well. The shakshouka and waffle are really good and a must-try!
