JD's Shoe Repair

I sent my beloved Doc Marten boots to JD to be re-soled after 24 years of serious pronation. They don’t make this style anymore and I can’t express how much I love these boots but I wore them out. I am beyond thrilled with how they turned out. I love the new soles. They are as good as new, only perfectly broken in. See before and after pics. If you have a pair of shoes with sentimental value and you’ve been on the fence about getting them restored, just do it. It’s worth it. JD does an amazing job and I suspect she loves my boots as much as I do. I’m wearing my favorite boots again with a huge smile on my face!

Seems like a nice craftty competent group, the place It was 6 weeks wait so it gets lots of business. Maybe too busy. I brought 2 pairs in. I want to give a better rating but my boots still dont fit and they didnt offer a partial refund or any solution. I just wish the owner was in when i picked them up. Also sold me half a can of shoe protector spray that dripped.

Quality of the work itself: 5 stars Communication and final results: 1 star Turnaround was fast. In the end my Sadelle boots ended up with chunky treaded soles instead of the low tread soles I originally picked out. No one called to say the soles I chose were out of stock. I wasn't offered the chance to retrieve my boots and wait it out. Instead, I'm out $170 and my favorite boots of 13 years are now my least favorite pair. I regret having them resoled. To be fair, despite being unhappy with the sole that was used and the fact it was done without consulting me, the actual quality of the work itself is solid. It was an hour each way to get here. I won't be back.

My favorite boots have new life! After 5-6 years of constant use, I'm so glad I brought them to JD's for a chance at redemption. Excellent work and worth the wait. My heels had blown out and I needed new soles. I never thought they would turn out this good.

Knowledgeable staff, good prices. They had a couple week lead time but were able to get my wildfire workboots done within a couple days so i could get out on the line ASAP. Good place, good people. 10/10 recommend

I had shoes put on my new boots in October. Today I went to put my boots on and they are peeling off. When I had soles added to my new boots, I specifically asked if they would last because I do a lot of walking in all types of weather. The woman behind the counter lied to my face. And it was expensive too!

They made my old looking shoes brand new! ...I was skeptical my faded leather tennis slip on shoes could be brought back to life, but this shop worked their magic
