Story

The 91-square-foot “Mini Jeni’s”, which opened in April, 2011, occupies a former barber shop next to the Brown Bag Deli. It’s just steps from Schiller Park, a jewel of the German Village neighborhood, which is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The walk-up—one of our two seasonal shops—attracts a steady flow of foot traffic and is open from April through October and includes plenty of patio seating to enjoy whatever flavor suits you. Note: This location has outdoor seating only and a limited menu.

What can I say?! Jeni’s ice cream never disappoints. The location in German village is a little ordering hut with only a few options. Ice cream is just as good! Love it here
Same 5 flavors for a while! Scoops are tiny for the price! Then when I used my debit card the girl said there’s a option to leave a tip for our hard working crew.. really? Jenis on high street much better! Tons of flavors and they definitely give you a bigger scoop!
People, for $6 the trio can’t be beat ! I went with Brambleberry Crisp very good, Honey Vanilla Bean above average, but RUSH DOWN to get the Strawberry Buttermilk! It is AMAZING! P.S. got to try the Darkest Chocolate at the Columbus Airport and it is quite good as well. I tried a couple of other ‘Ohio Favorite’ ice cream places while I was there, but Jeni’s was hands down the best!
We love Jeni's! This is a little window that has a handful of their best flavors. Great for a sweet treat when you're in the neighborhood.
Cute little Jeni's. My Ice Cream was a bit melty and the waffle cone was just fine, but the staff was super friendly.
Ice cream is great if you can actually manage to get your hands on it. My advice: go to this pop up location with ZERO expectations. Do not expect them to carry the flavor you want. Do not expect them to ever be stocked in the flavor you want. Do not expect them to be open during their stated business hours. Do not expect them to be open after Labor Day but if you want ice cream on a rainy 45 degree day in April then you’re in luck?. This shop is so hit or miss its frustrating.
Amazing! The ice cream as always was delicious, the staff was beyond friendly, and the location and window service was fantastic!
Jeni’s ice cream is outstandingly good. And there are many unusual flavors such as lavender, brown butter almond brittle that I had.
Great food but always seem to forget different things that you ask of them to do to your food.
Closed for the day to prep for the evening opening. I paid $4 to park and walked 4 blocks at 2 locations to find the store temp closed. Drove on to Youngs Dairy.
