John G. Roche Opticians

I have been going to John's for a few years now, and I own several pairs of their glasses. The brands they carry are fantastic, and I get compliments on my glasses all of the time. They're unique, they fit great, and you can just tell how much nicer they are than the glasses you get at the run of the mill eyeglass outfitters (trust me, I went to Lens Crafters etc for years, and going to John's was a life changer in terms of how I felt about wearing glasses). I also can't say enough about their outstanding customer service. John and his son, Francis, are great people who care about how you feel in your glasses looks-wise as well and make sure the fit is just right. They are sincerely very nice, never pushy, and it's an inviting environment. I never feel rushed or awkward looking around. If you need an adjustment or have any other questions, they are always ready to help. John G. Roche Opticians is top notch.

I've been a loyal customer of John G. Roche Opticians since I bought my first pair of glasses at their Winchester location many years ago. I was thrilled when they opened a store in Lexington (though their glasses are worth the drive!). Over the years, I've purchased too many pairs to count!! Their selection is top notch. Original shapes and fun colors -- definitely the most unique eyewear collection in our area. I regularly receive compliments on my frames and have yet to see a single pair of my glasses on anyone else. And if the glasses weren't enough, their service is unparalleled. John and Francis know their stuff and make you feel like you're a priority. I can't recommend John G. Roche Opticians highly enough!

Impeccable service, this is the only place I would go to get glasses from. They pay attention to every single detail, are very knowledged in all areas of eyewear. and carry very high quality brands. If you want a good pair of glasses that will fit well and last a very long time look nowhere else.

I first met John Roche in his Winchester location on a day when I was in that community for other business. After spending just a few minutes with him, it was easy to see his vast knowledge is the optical field and his total commitment to customer satisfaction. Upon returning home that evening I mentioned my encounter with John to my wife and we agreed that we were both ready for a change, having worked with a local but far higher volume optical shop. We visited his Lexington store that weekend and met with John and his son Francis, who oversees the Lexington location. We saw many great options for new eyeglasses and even got a solid recommendation from John for an established ophthalmologist for eye exams. A couple of Saturdays later we returned with our new prescriptions and chose some distinctive new eyewear. We both received our new glasses last week and are extremely happy with the frames, lenses, fitting and overall service from John, Francis and the entire Roche team. We're so happy to have found the RIGHT opticians for us! UPDATE: About a week ago I detected an issue with my new eyeglass frame and stopped by; Francis called later that day to ask me to bring them by to examine the issue and identify a solution. Received a call today to say that "your glasses are in" and was stunned to find that Francis had obtained an entirely new replacement frame to resolve the problem. What great service!
