Johnny's Tavern

Big time KU environment, food is good. You get what you pay for. Pizza is good, a lot of different choices. Worth trying if you like oven made thin crust.

I called about an hour before a big KU game telling them I would have a party of 25-30. They opened up their upstairs room for my party, and were quick to get us food and drinks, even though they were dealing with a packed downstairs and our unexpectedly large party. We also had about 20 different tabs between us, but there were no mistakes on any of the bills.

Always make this our annual stop after Brew To Brew and never disappoints. Good food, beer flows, and good company, what else can one ask for? Also, one of the local breweries makes a beer just for Johnny's, give it a shot!

St.Patricks day was lovely thanks to Mr.Chase our barkeep😘 & Pizza pro (which is, what i hear hand made from scratch) it was absolutely delicious and as I only drink on the holidays, i would definitely visit this pub for it's eats (Pizza) alone but don't get it twisted the drinks were fire water on a cold day 😍 and.... The patrons-a very lovely & lively crowd!😌 Case in point- i felt@home & very welcome here@Johnny's Tavern

Pretty classic dive joint. In the best way. Drink prices seemed a bit high, but the food looked amazing!
