Jolly Pumpkin Restaurant & Brewery

A family favorite! A lovely drive about 11 miles north of town from Center or Peninsula Drive. Good food and some of the best beer in Northern Michigan. Awesome outdoor fire pit, and you can roam the grounds freely with your beverage. Really nifty upstairs area with another ten tables that extends up some wooden stairs into a few private dining rooms alongside a cozy little nook complete with bookshelves and a fireplace. Don't forget to visit the haunted staircase and elevator shaft! This place is a classy, candid sample of the taste of Grand Traverse and Old Mission. Make sure to swing through with the family for dinner and explore!

The Brew is great! The lamb is one of the best that I have ever had for lamb chops. The cherry chicken salad is excellent. An awesome atmosphere and decor with prompt, friendly, service and staff. This place has it all going right!

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. I had the bbq sandwich and it was beyond expectations. Craft beers were great. Service was reasonably quick and efficient. Prices aren’t bad for the TC area. We ate on the bar side and it was noisy- not much they can do about this at a popular place on a Saturday- but conversation was difficult.

Great bar food. Fantastic beer selection. Lots of atmosphere. Nice t-shirt selection of craft beers and Pumpkin's own branding. No lunch service during winter months on weekdays, but worth it whenever you can go.

The beer was great! The spirits were okay. Whiskeys seemed a bit young but the vodka and tequila were smooth and flavorful. Homemade cumin chips tasted fantastic! Would definitely return.
