Jose Pepper's Mexican Restaurant

Found a cockroach in our meal. Used to love this place but not anymore. Told the manager and he was very nonchalant about it & asked if we wanted stuff to go. Absolutely not we said and he walked away. We reported it to health inspectors along with a photo of it. Update inspector contacted and he went in and found several roach nest, parents & babies. Also several sticky traps filled with roaches. You would think if this happened then the restaurant would have cleaned up their kitchen knowing that they probably would be reported. This tells me that they do not care.

Cinco de Mayo. Had a blast. Sat outside under the tent. DJ playing music, it was festive not loud. Moved inside to the bar. Place was packed, found one seat and eventually another opened up. My one constant gripe is children sitting at the bar. Food is excellent. Margaritas are premixed. They have specials but, I still like a top shelf. Good parking.

Joe is the best server we have had in a very long time, at any restaurant!! He put up with our dumb jokes and kept up with our refills and was right on when splitting our checks! He is wonderful!

The workers here are outstanding! Their food is is phenomenal and Jose Peppers is always my first pick for dinner.

I was disappointed. For some reason this flavor of Mexican food isnt for me. Cilantro on lots of things...... so the stars are not because the flavor wasn't for me. When I my guest ordered their food they made sure to ask for certain things to be left off. The waiter told us he was sure it would be ok. He was nice and got our drinks and cheese dip. we were satisfied for a bit. The place was busy. But we had already waited 25 minutes for a spot to sit. Then when we ordered our food it was a long time before we got it. The waiter kept apologizing for the wait and reilled our drinks. We waited almost 30 minutes for the food. And my guests plate had everything on his like he didn't ask for anything to be left off. They just cooked it normal. He refused to eat it and we had already waited so my other guest traded them. But neither were happy about it. I did too the waiter. I didn't know whose fault it was but we won't be visiting here again.
