I highly recommend this shop. Katie was AWESOME! She introduced me to Deva Curl and my hair has improved ten fold. Go see them! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Especially if you have naturally curly hair. They know their stuff! Thank you so much!

I was in the salon this past Saturday to get my hair washed by Allistar. I was so excited to come here because of all the rave I've followed by naturally curly girls on YouTube. So I ended up making 3 appointments every other week b/c I'm 5mos pregnant and just don't have energy to do my hair myself anymore. I was scheduled to get a Deva Cut on June 1st and another wash on June 16th. But I ended up canceling all my appointments after Saturday's experience. Allistar did great with washing my hair. The part that frustrated me was when he put me under the dryer for 30mins. I don't use heat on my hair because my curls only shrivel up and dry out. One of the sweet ladies whose station was up front came and turned my dryer down for me. Once he came to take me out from the dryer I was disappointed. He couldn't figure out how to get my curls lower. So he said to his assistant, "Take her over there to figure it out because I give up"! I kept my composure and went with her. She sprayed watered down conditioner on my hair and tried her best to stretch out the curls for me. I told her it's okay. She walked me up front to check out while Allistar was working on another client. He didn't bother say goodbye, sorry, thank you or anything! I went home to do my own hair b/c it was a dry brillo pad. I called the Salon once I left the house to go shopping and canceled ALL of my future appointments. The lady apologized and told me that the manager would give me a call on Tuesday. But I haven't heard anything and have called every day since Monday and no response from the manager. I lost all confidence in Deva Curl Salons in Franklin, TN.

This place is a must for anyone who has curly hair. Normally, I usually dread getting my hair cut anywhere because they never know what to do with my curls. I end up just telling them to cut it straight across around my collarbones, knowing that if it sucks (and it will) it will just grow back. The DevaCurl stylists at Juel are SO knowledgeable and gracious in how they teach you how to care for your own hair once you leave them that it makes you feel empowered. Highly recommended!

Allie Rae is a curl sorceress!!! Everyone is super nice. AND they have caffeine.

I can't remember who cut my hair. All I know is that she was very new, but also the salon was very unwelcoming. I ended up going to another salon to have my hair fixed because it was so uneven.
