An absolute jewel. The management does a great job keeping this place pristine. Frequently patrolled by park rangers makes this a safe place for the kids to run around and play. Take advantage of the canoe and kayak rental at Killens Pond , or take a nature walk in the many miles of trails. And don't forget the Waterpark, lots of fun for kids and adults, with in an easy 15 min bike ride from the campsites,. We have been coming for the last 5 years, and try to get a couple trips there every year. A big shout-out to the staff, the camp hosts and the park Rangers for making this place so awesome

There is a charge to get in but it's very small. $3 I believe? Or you can buy a yearly pass. The map was very easy to understand and the trails are well kept. Definitely a great place for a short hike or a nice bike ride even. Cute little picnic spots too. I can't wait to bring my family back out when the weather is nice again. Haven't tried the water park yet but I've heard it's fun.

A lot more (and longer) trails than I knew. I also enjoy going out on a kayak here. They have cabins to rent. A nice option even though I haven't done it myself

I love everything about this place. All the stuff you can rent to take on the water, the nature center with snakes and turtles and usually other cool stuff on weekends. There are miles of trails and you could make your own path between them all depending on what kind of view you want. They have lots of sports areas as well as biking trails specifically and walking trails are kind of separated which is nice. Tons of parking. My only complaint is not really that bad, but the water park is nice, but in the middle of the season when the tourists come it gets so busy and there really isn't a lot of room in the water park even though there is a decent amount of stuff to do considering it's just a nature park. But it has gotten very popular and I think maybe a deep pool should be added somewhere for more dispersement of activities. Even... A wave pool? Water park needs some kind of accommodation for when it has high volume. That's the only complaint any local has that I know. Even tourists think it's ridiculously packed. Take in mind this is only on the busiest of busy days in summer. The week is decent up until Saturday, and they put in some big slides this past summer that really make it worth paying the cheap admission now. All in all, this is my favorite park and I wish I could just get a season pass!

Beautiful park. There is something for everyone. Kayaking, trail run, disc golf, biking, exercise path, nature center, classes, live music, playground, water park, cabins, tenting... We camped recently and had a nice view of the pond and close access to a trail around it.
