Kitchen on George

Wonderful Experience! Serving staff was professional and friendly. The food was excellent! The steak was tender and cooked perfectly and the amber jack was cooked through, but not dry. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend made reservations for Friday night at 7:30. We arrived 30 mins early & was given the option of waiting for our reserved time or to go ahead & be seated. We decided to wait at the bar where we ordered a dirty martini and a gin & tonic (both drinks were good.) We were seated on time, but service was slow. The food was excellent! With every bite was a new welcoming flavor. Portions are healthy. The size of what we should eat at every meal. American’s are so used to larger portions which is one reason why we’re an obese country, so I didn’t mind the portion size. We actually took home leftovers! We’ll definitely be back on occasion. We got the duck spring rolls (6/10) mushroom soup(10/10) & I ordered the beef tenderloin(10/10) which was cooked perfectly! It was so tender it melted in my mouth!

This place is so unbelievably fantastic. Not only does it support local sustainable farms, it also supports local culinary arts students and the food is PHENOMENAL. My husband and I just went on a last minute date night and ended up at Kitchen on George. I'm so glad we did! The salmon salad was so great and very filling, my husband even liked it and he's not usually a fan of salmon. The pork belly and the roasted duck were so soft and tender and full of flavor. There wasn't a single item that we didn't like. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Kitchen on George. The mushroom soup, the chicken pasta, and the ricotta cheesecake were all perfect. Even the house-baked bread and seasoned olive oil were delicious. Plus, the service was extremely friendly and fast.

Literally the best seafood I have had since moving to Mobile. Kitchen on George reminds me of the beautiful FIVE STAR restaurants I have dined in previously in Washington DC. The atmosphere is classic and inviting, the staff is professional and knowledgeable and the farm to table cuisine is spectacular with burst in your mouth flavors. Perfect for DATE NIGHT. The location inside an old neighborhood makes it a little hard to find at first, bur GOOGLE maps will lead you straight to the door. Enjoyed every moment and bite in this precious place.
