I love coming to Le Colombe for my caffeine fix before heading to Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies. They offer lots of delicious coffee options and dairy alternatives. I recently tried the black & tan which was delicious and complemented their pumpkin cake very well. The service is friendly and the inside atmosphere is relaxing and offers a nice place to catch up with colleagues before heading to class.
Cute shop, good coffee. They don’t have many food options but the ham and cheese croissant was very delicious. Wish they could warm it up. But it’s otherwise very clean and staff was nice.
La Colombe is a great place to get a quality cup of coffee in the Chinatown area. I went to this location several times on a recent trip to DC. Baristas were always friendly and helpful. The Oatmilk Draft Latte was delicious as was the light roast drip coffee. The only downside were the pastries. They are not made in-house but delivered each morning. I tried a couple but they didn't taste fresh. Stick to the coffee options here as La Colombe is a great place to get your coffee fix!
Had a drop latte for the first time and I must say as a coffee enthusiast it was an amazing experience I would try often. It’s reminds me of coffee infused whip cream as it’s thick, smooth, & frothy before getting to the delicious liquid of the drink. The ambiance is also very relaxed. If your thinking of choosing between this coffee shop and a chain like Starbucks don’t think about it definitely go here!
Cafe Latte was done really well! Great ambience and friendly staff though pastries were not that interesting. Go for the coffee and enjoy the minimalist but calm vibe.
Thought the machine was run down for a specialty coffee mostly dirty. The coffee was above average, wouldn’t say specialty. The barista was more concerned about closing than making a good coffee. Place could be mofe cozy, it has potential but not fully exploited.
Stayed in The Hampton Inn ConventionCenter location across the street but wanted something much better than their free hotel coffee. La Colombe is steps out the door and has really good coffee. The barista was super helpful in letting us know about their flavors. Very positive experience in a delightful, convenient location. We’ll be back next DC trip.
It is a great place for a coffee break. I really liked my Cappuccino. There was a very calm atmosphere and a lot of people were sitting there, working and drinking coffee. I also liked their tableware, it is adorable to drink coffee from a nice cup.
Loved the environment of this place! We ordered a macchiato and a hot chocolate which were both excellent! Staff was friendly and the service was great. Would definitely recommend this coffee shop
Service was quick, coffee was good. I was bummed they were out of the vegan carrot muffin, but it was late in the day so I forgive them. I had an oatmilk mocha hot, which was good, and sampled the oatmilk draft latte cold which was super good. Will go again, hopefully they’ll come to Long Beach.
