Horrible experience! The women were rude and mean. I was basically yelled at like a child. I will never go to that site again. They should learn to be a little nicer to people. No one wants to be there getting medical work done so they should be mindful of that. I was there for my 6 year old son trying to find out answers to his illness.

Awful, awful experience. Tech was dismissive and ignored me as others have described, them rude and abusive. And I paid $ for that.

Customer service obliviously was left out of their employee handbook. I work in the Real Estate business and would have been terminated for far less with the way I was treated. "Stay away" their are plenty other options to have blood work performed. Couldn't even hear the lady speak to me due to the radio on behind the counter. Very unprofessional and I'm being nice! You can't post unless you pick a star or i would not even have given 1 star.

I arrived at this location with my three-year-old son for his first ever bloodwork. When I walked in a woman looked at me and then looked away; no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another woman came over and asked if I had an appointment and I said no, she pushed a clipboard toward me and shut the glass window.
We were then called back to the desk and I gave my paperwork to the one woman all while listening the other woman talk on the phone about her weekend as other customers sat in the lobby. From that point both workers proceeded to talk to each other about their personal lives and I really had yet to recieve any kind of hello. My son dropped his pacifier and one of them started talking about their own kids and the pacifier so I thought it would be a good time to interject and joke about how hard it is to get little ones off the pacifier, hoping they would become a bit friendlier. No such luck.
After my information was typed into the computer the woman ended with simply saying "room 2." At that point we went to room 2. A few minutes later another woman came in and tried to draw my sons blood with no success on one arm, which is fine, I understand finding a vein can be difficult. She then proceeded to tell me we will try the other arm and she would remove her glove. At that point I said in a friendly manner, "I think we should keep the gloves on; I think it would probably be best." She started to gather the tubes without acknowledging my request for gloves. So I gently repeated, "I think it's best if we wear gloves." At that point she looked at me and said, "You already said that." Wow....I just thought to myself...wow. I can't believe she's offended that I want her to wear gloves. At this point my son was screaming and she told me, "he has to hold his arm straight", in which I responded, "He's only three; I'm trying to hold it."
She finished and left the room without saying one word. I stood there for a minute gathering our things waiting to see if she would come back. She did not return so we went out in the hallway where we saw her. I'm thinking that she would say, "have a nice day, all finished or you're all set", but nothing, she just walked past me.
At that point I turned to her and said I'm really sorry you're offended, but I wanted you to wear gloves bc it's really necessary. I told her I had a degree in biology and I worked in the lab before and I know how important it is to wear gloves around blood. She turned around and barked at me and told me to leave, then the other woman chimed in. I told them they were both rude from the moment we got there and that they should be paying attention to people and not getting offended when asked to wear gloves.
Basic customer service and a human connection go a long way especially when a child is getting bloodwork for the first time. Also, I don't care if she took 25 showers today; you need to wear gloves when you're around blood. It's common sense.
My advice to these women: I really hope the two of you can learn how to grow in your positions and learn how to respect other people. Look at the other reviews, look how disappointed people are after they leave being in your presence. Strive to be the best, strive for a human connection with others... especially since you're in healthcare. Don't spend your whole lives being mediocre and treating people like you do not care. You can be so much better than that. Choose to be extraordinary.
