Parkway Clinical Laboratories

Now I know why they will not follow Federal Law and send me copies of my labs. They did understand that that there was a 2014 Amendment to HIPAA that allows patients to receive labs from the doctor OR the lab. I called and the reps taking the calls didn't know about this but the supervisor did. I said that they should be trained know this Amendment but I was told that they didn't need to know. They have 30 days to send the labs after I request them. ON the 30th day I was told they needed a letter of request and picture of ID. I had sent probably about 20 emails and have read receipts with this information. I even sent one to the CEO and like every other email they didn't answer. So, on I was finally told that is will be mailed out. I was told over 3 weeks it was in the mail. I still haven't legally received my labs. She said she called my former Pain Center which they deny she called. I was told then they were no longer going to assist. I filed a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services. I think they are doing illegal things and if anyone can let me know what they are doing I would appreciate it.

This place is horrible to work for If I can rate them it will be 0... it's micromanaging like a salve camp! They fired people left and right after very little training. Don't allow 15 minutes breaks on 10 minutes. Unqualified supervisor only with 1 year experience. They don't pay for shift diff. They required you to stay 3rd shift without paying the proper rate. They are by far the worst lab to work for need to be reported EEOC! .

I'd give this lab negative zero stars if it were an option. Parkway Lab should be shutdown for falsifying drug test lab reports. They are at worst a criminally negligent lab. Who grossly doctor and falsify reports. Returning "false positive" drug tests back to the patient's chronic pain specialist. They added a hardcore narcotic drug the patient had never taken and eliminated four everyday medications from the report that the patient takes religiously for health and wellbeing. This is so baffling and strange. Only reason for this is lab techs are totally incompetent idiots who switch patients urine, mislabel, and/or cross contaminate specimens whether accidentally or not who knows? The only other scenario is this patient's doctor is colluding with Parkway in order to cut ALL opiate prescriptions, due to "Opiate Fears", but doctors shouldn't mess with responsible legitimate patients. This kind of deceit MUST STOP or Parkway needs to be SHUT DOWN!

This laboratory has caused many clients to be forced off drug rehabilitation and back into prison because of their quality control issues. They have cause many false positives through cross contamination. They need to be closed down. I have proof if anybody needs it.
