Lake Perris State Recreation Area

After years of being neglected, Perris Lake is now as beautiful as ever. Our stay was awesome and peaceful. The lake is full and clean. We have an RV and hookups were available to use. They also have an awesome Distinguished Veteran program that allows qualified Vets to use the park and facilities at no charge if qualified. Great place to visit.

Nice place Very well protected. Very clean good showers nice and hot but u need to let water warm up. Restrooms well stocked with to and cleaned daily. Plenty of things for the whole family to do. Camping spots are kept clean. You should bring your own fire wood or pay the rangers for wood. You won't find any its always picked up and used for funding. So please do come for a visit. The wildlife is awesome.

The 10 mile bike trail around the lake is open again! Wonderful over night sights tent and 5th wheel accommodations! The south side entrance camping area definitely needs some upgrades but still enjoyable. No accommodations at the South side entrance. There are however outhouses.

I usually visit during the week. Not to crowded. If visiting on the weekend get there in the am. Camping is much better than it was many years ago. Staff is usually very pleasant.

It has been over 30 years since I went to this lake. I use to go as a kid. Stop going because I heard the upkeep was very poor. My experience was very positive and I look forward to going back in the summer.
