Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant

I love spiced Injera as appetizer and other vegetables. I love the taste of all vegetarian dishes. The proportion is also large. This is my most favorite and go to place. I highly recommend it. I wish them to be open throughout afternoon specifically during weekdays. I would highly recommend them to be open on Sundays too. Last Saturday when I went there at 3.30pm they were closed. I was so disappointed as I had specifically been to their place from Jersey City just to have their food because I so love it. In addition the Google maps doesn't mention that they are closed during specific hours. So I didn't call them before going.

The owner is very kind. Loved the delicious and authentic food. The decor and music was perfect. We felt very relaxed as we ate our yummy platter of Ethiopian food.

First experience trying Ethiopian food. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. Good was amazing. Looking forward to come back soon!

I wasted cab fare to try this place and to my disappointment they were closed when i arrived. It was 2:20pm? After 40mins of waiting i left. Sadly this is the 2nd time happening but i thought it was a fluke.Lights on,ac on and no sign indicating a return. Clearly these people are lazy and I could imagine the food would be no better.

Food has always been very good at this small restaurant, but 7p Friday and they did not have enough food to seat and serve a party of 5. Odd.
