Le Bistro

Very good service. My dishes were mediocre. I had the French onion soup and a salad of brussel sprouts, acorn squash, walnuts, cranberries, bacon. The soup had a hard glob of microwaved cheese and bread (I'm guessing) on top that had to be cut though to get the onion soup. Don't they know about microwaving bread. Makes it hard!! The salad tasted ok but appeared dark and colorless. Could have been helped with some cherry tomatoes or white goat cheese. Maybe some bright Mandarin orange slices. Picked beet chunks. Cilantro. Something. And it dod not taste fresh. Made last weekend?

Always fantastic food and service, and we have never had to wait for a table which is rare in Huntington! The Shrimp & Grits are my absolute favorite & Creme Brûlée is excellent as well.

Good service but the food was just ok and way over priced. Tried it once was not that impressed.

The food was quite enjoyable. The service was great! The Bourbon Braised short ribs were really good, the Pasta Carbonara was good (but certainly not worth the price), and the creme brûlée was good. The beer was priced well. The wine was a bit high per glass. The lighting could be better on the tables. The music was interesting and unexpected for the atmosphere. Overall, the food is super overpriced. The total with tip for two came to $102. I think “very good but not worth the price” sums it up. We did dinner but hear that the lunch is a decent value.

My fifth time here. And it's getting worse. The braised ribs were like something from Bob Evans. The pasta again something uneventful and not worth the price. The music is southern rock and something that was not the atmosphere I expected from past visits. I'm do not live in Huntington any longer but this use to be my favorite restaurant to come to when in town. Probably the last time unfortunately. Just not a bistro and more of a chain like setting. Pretty disappointing .
