Love their homestyle cooking! The bread is always fresh, the desserts are homemade and yummy. I also like the fact that you can get fresh pies, bread and jam to take home. Can't beat the price either! ❤

They have some of the best food. I believe it's the closest thing to a good home cooked meal that anyone could possible get aside from being at home. Their staff is very polite, and as a whole the price and service is unbeatable. I definitely will be eating here often for years to come. They also have a gift shop that has very many unique items. If you're in the area you should make it a point to at least try this place once. The only downside is that they close at 2pm.

Nice restaurant with really good Amish food. They are only open until 3 and closed on Sundays. They offer a buffet for $10 (kids $4). We were too late for the buffet, but it looked delicious, and there was also a dessert bar with fresh homemade desserts, that also looked amazing. If we are ever in the area again we will absolutely go back.

In response to your comment below, the book was not used, it was read two pages in... It was still in mint condition. This was no Christian book. Nothing my Lord would read. I was deeply, deeply disappointed with the gift store at this location. We have been in before in the past. This past time I purchased several books. I didn't stand there and pre read the books as most establishments frown on doing such, though I did read the introduction to the books. I went on good faith that these books were being sold by fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. When I began reading one of the books to my children I was surprised and saddened to find much foul language in one of the books. To be honest it was downright offensive. I checked the book thinking maybe I could black out a foul word or two, but much to my dismay the book simply was louded in filthy language! A childrens book at that! Seriously? And being sold at a Christian establishment! When I contacted them about returning the book they refused to take it back. Blaming it on customers trying to return fabric. I am sorry but there is a huge difference between all sales being final on cut fabrics or an offensive book marketed for children! The book cost 16.00, it is now sitting in my garbage can. I could not keep such a book in my home with my children. Tell me how can you sell such books in a christian establishment? We will not be back in your store. I am praying you all will have a change of heart in carrying such low quality, soul damaging books in your store.

If you love home cooked veggies and charming atmosphere you gotta stop here. I'm a vegetarian and there are not a lot of options but what they do have is sooo good. We travel 2 hours to Versailles couple times a year and it's always on our itinerary!
